 this isn't near as bad as my feet have swollen so far, but it is pretty much how they stay now days unless i just sit and do absolutely nothing at all.I asked Vincent today if i had 'fat feet' and he just looked at me and smiled and said "mommy you're funny". I guess thats his way of being nice and trying not to hurt my feelings. He also told me that we can see Daxton in the morning and I really hope hes right.

Yesterday i had a regular doctors apt for Daxton yesterday which quickly turned into an all day event. I had stopped taking the terbutaline pills 5 days ago so my doctor hooked me up to the monitor to watch my contractions, which were regular as always. She examined me and my cervix is still closed, but she sent me down to labor and delivery for more monitoring and to be checked again in an hour to see if anything had changed. I was there for 6 and a half hrs before they decided to give me two shots of terbutaline to stop the contractions. They want Daxton to stay in me for atleast another week or two to assure that his lungs are mature enough for him to breathe on his own. They also said he is a happy baby and that his heart beat and movements were text book perfect. Which is a great thing to hear. Hes just really hurting me, so ill be really happy when hes finally out of me. The doctors gave me strick orders to sit and do nothing, im thinking "yeah ok... i have a three yr old." -note to self:: always eat something on the way to your doctors appointments just incase they have to keep you there for hours not letting you eat. That way you wont starve.

busy day Ive been pretty busy today. I had a friend come to visit with her two boys and she brought me lots of clothes for Daxton. She also brought me an extra boppy with extra covers, a baby Bjorn, a shopping cart cover and a bunch of other random things i could totally use. Then i went to trade some things that i dont use anymore for a rainforest bouncer and the lady gave me a new ring sling for free. i don't really think she realised what she was giving away, but i love it. its beautiful and i cant wait to use it. Its always great to have an extra laying around for when ones in the wash. The other one i have is from when Vincent was a baby its a Maya wrap that's plain black. I spent the day cleaning the bouncer, and washing and organizing clothes and now I'm tired.  the ring sling.

Pictures of my room, almost finished. i love the color green i chose, the pictures do no justice. its more an earthy moss color.  this first picture is when you first walk in the door this will basically be open space. that's going to be the bathroom to the left, and then over towards the right will be my closet and then where my bed will be. I had a cubby made for the bed that way i could use the space to its full potential and make my closet a bit bigger. Thad be the cubby for the bed, which will also be on a platform doing away with the box spring mattress so i will have tons of storage space underneath. Then that's the closet, which is four times the closet i have now, we left the one side you see that's white with the beams out so that i can hang hooks on the insides of the boards for all my scarves and belts.You cant really see it in the picture but right next to the closet before you walk into it (the far right of the picture) there is a huge space where i will have Daxtons crib. Then i will have open floor for a baby swing and chair or whatever else.

Im almost out of week 34. This is for sure farther than i was expecting to make it. Im excited but at the same time my body is so sore. Every single part of it hurts and because of that im so over being pregnant. new room with green paint My room is almost done. I chose the color for it yesterday and it was painted today. Ill have a much bigger walk in closet to hold all of our clothes, and ill have my own bathroom. Its alot bigger than what I'm in right now with alot more space. Basically we just need to put in the flooring, window seals and baseboards and then we will be moving into it. I can not wait to have my own space again and I'm sure my sister cant wait to have hers back. crib i got Daxtons crib the other day. Its a light color wood and its very simple, just like i wanted. Hes going to co-sleep with me, but i needed the crib for naps when he learns to roll over and crawl. -I don't really have much to write because nothings really going on. I honestly feel like I'm just waiting every day for Daxton to get here, or my room to be finished so i can move my stuff into it.

confusion my doctors appt was yesterday on the 7th and not on the 6th like i thought. I was confused, but i went yesterday and they did another growth ultrasound and Daxton weighs a whopping 6lbs 8oz. Hes measuring in at the 37th week and he's definitely 'a boy' the doctors said. As they printed me off yet another picture of my sons large penis I'm thinking to myself how many pictures of his genitals do they think i need? i have like 5 already! I didn't get as many cute ultrasound pictures this time like i have in the past because hes so squished in there they couldn't really get any decent ones, but we could see that he has some big and chunky cheeks. Everything looks good and they told me i can stop taking the terbutaline pill within the next week or so. Time is getting closer. -on the 6th Vincents little sister was finally born, so now hes a big brother to a little sister.

relief I'm 33wks and 6days pregnant and tomorrow i will have finally made it out of my dreaded 33rd wk. I'm so excited because every day from this point on will mean a more positive birth experience and hospital stay for Daxton and myself. This is finally apart of pregnancy that i haven't experienced before and its pretty exciting and tiring all at the same time. I have a highrisk appt tomorrow morning so hopefully there will be nothing but more good news for me. more returns and things thanks to coupons i purchased 40 dollars worth of diapers for just 30 dollars and it gave me an extra 100 diapers. Then today i returned some of Daxtons outfits and exchanged them for bigger sized outfits for the colder weather. They are so cute and i cant wait for him to wear them. -tomorrow Vincents little sister at his dads house will be born making him a big brother.

happy Ive been looking at the Fisher Price Papasan Nature Seat for the past few months and Ive been wanting one for Daxton pretty bad. The seat looks so comfortable, its not a bouncy seat or anything, its more of just a place for a new baby to sleep. It plays music and vibrates and all those soothing things and considering infants sleep the majority of the time I figured that it would be perfect for him for the first 3 months or so. That way he can have something to sleep in during the daytime and still be with me in whatever room im in. Ill beable to move it into the kitchen when I'm cooking, or into the bathroom when I'm showering. It folds really flat so its pretty easy to carry around. Finally after staring at them for about a month i bought one today for a pretty great price. Its perfect, I'm pretty excited about it and I bet he is just going to love it.  -i guess I'm almost in the clear of week 33 and that makes me happy.

Is it just me or does this week seem like its going by so incredibly slow? I washed blankets and burp cloths today just to give me something to do. I feel like this weeks going by really slow and i wish it would hurry up. soreness every morning when i wake up my body is so sore. My hands are sore, my feet are sore, my legs are sore. I'm not sure if my fingers are actually swollen or not, i cant really tell, but they hurt when i bend them to make a fist. All the extra weight Ive gained over the past months is starting to wear on my body and I'm glad its almost over. I'm sure after about 5-6 months postpartum ill be whining about how i 'kind of' miss being pregnant, but for now I'm pretty glad its coming to an end. I'm ready to meet this little stranger that i already love so much. set up Ive started setting things up around the house. I went ahead and got he swing out and made a place in the living room for it. I just want the baby to come as not such a shock to Vincent, so i figured if i started setting things up around the house it would help him transition a little better. Instead of having everything come along at the same time as the baby. This way he will have a few weeks to stare at it and it will become part of the norm. I also washed the bottles last week and made a place for them in the cabinets. -tomorrow i will be one more day closer to the end of my 33rd wk and I'm still feeling pretty good compared to my last pregnancy.
