♥Costumes.

Halloween has always been a big holiday for me and my family. We would decided what we wanted our costume to be weeks in advance and if we couldn't find the one we wanted then my dad would make it for us and he would spend weeks working on the costume until it came out just right. Ive never stopped dressing up for Halloween and ive went trick or treating every year up until the year i got pregnant with Vincent. Once Vincent got here i continued living my love of Halloween through him. His first Halloween he wore a bear costume and then ive made his costumes the passt two years. One of them was a Cowboy costume which i hand made with my sewing machine and then last year he was a puppy and it was a costume that i made in literally 30 minutes or less with no sewing machine and everyone loved it especially Vincent.  Halloween'08 I had decided i was going to make his costume every year until he understood what Halloween was and could express that he wanted to be something on his own and if it was something that i couldn't make better than the stores sold it, then i would buy it and this is the first year that i wont make his costume simply because i cant make a Spiderman costume. Vincents been on a Spiderman kick for a few months now and i just knew that when he seen the Spiderman at the store he would want it and so that's what hes going to be this year.  and Daxton is going to be a baby giraffe for is first year of Halloween. This will be the first year that i wont be dressing up but i have two children that will be doing the dressing up for me and i couldn't be more proud of my baby giraffe and my Spiderman.

♥Hip Ultrasound.

This past Monday i took Daxton to have his hip ultrasound done at the Children's Hospital. He had to have the Ultrasound to check his hips for Hip Dysplasia because of his breech position during my pregnancy. I haven't noticed anything at all that would cause me to be concerned, but I get the actual results back at his next Doctors visit. If it appears that he has problems with his hips then he will have to wear a brace for a few weeks which should correct the problem.

This is a video from a band and an artist that i really like. [The singer in this bands name is Dax Riggs. My son Daxton wasn't directly named after him, but it definitely added to the liking factor of the name when i was choosing it for him.]

 Looking so smart. We went to a Fall Festival at the church that Vincent and the family attend. This was the first time Vincent has ever rode on a horse and after a little time convincing him that he would have fun riding on it, i think his smile tells all.

 I have been breastfeeding Daxton for 38 days now and i am loving every moment of it. Let me say that I'm also the first woman in my family to follow through with breastfeeding and even though i certainly hope im not the last, its still kind of a big deal to me. I totally knew i could do it!

I really love this music video that was remade with the Bob Marley song 'The Three Little Birds'. They show it on Noggin, the children's channel on TV. After about a month of me searching Utube someone finally uploaded it, so I'm going to share it with you because i think its a really cute video. -im going to try to upload and share a video, or music video, every monday from now on.

 Take your time Son, don't live to fast.As of today at 1:29pm Daxton is five weeks old. I can remember clearly that five weeks ago today i was holding him and feeding him for the first time right about now. I was so happy that he was finally here and when they brought him back to my room and put him back into my arms it just felt right, as if he had always been here and as if he had always been my son. There was no need for us to get to know each other because i already knew him and he already knew me.

♥A Recap.

...for the most part we spent our morning/afternoon just relaxing around the house.  ...until my sister came by and we took the boys to the park for about an hour. Daxton loves his Baby Bjorn carrier and so do i.  ...Vincent making his goofy faces. This is our first picture of the three of us together and I'm thinking that its perfect. ...after playing at the park we went out to eat dinner and Daxton slept the whole time. He really is a good baby, actually, the both of them were very well behaved.  i am truly loving the Fall/Autumn weather. Maybe we will go to the park again tomorrow and have a picnic.
