♥Its in the Past

So after yesterdays throw up fest, i was praying my Vincent would be feeling better today, and i was most happy when i went to get him from bed in the morning and he was back to his happy little self. It kinda made yesterday seem like a really long nightmare. Only the reality of it was every time he made a weird noise today i was terror-stricken that he was going to throw up. We went to the 15 month check up today. Vincent weighs 24 lbs (though i swore to them that their scale was broke; that there is no way a baby that feels like he weighs 50 lbs could possibly weigh a meager 24 lbs.) and he is 31 inches long. I was holding him today after our morning shower and we were looking in the mirror when i was asking who that crazy baby was that mommy was holding while pointing at our reflection, its the first time i actually noticed how big he is getting, he is half the size of me. I am coming to the realization that he really doesn't care for the camera too much, which is kinda a bummer considering i really like taking his picture. My first clue s the fact that he always tries to run/get away from me when i have the flashy device.........  ......and my second clue would be the fact that sometimes i catch pictures like this one... look at his facial expression, it looks as if he is only letting me take his picture to appease me. Taking such time out of his busy toddler day, hes the best.. thanks Vincent, Mommy loves you to and i promise i will stop chasing you with the camera (at least until maybe tomorrow).  OK, look mom hurry up and take the picture, I'm a busy baby and i don't have time for this. Labels: 15 month checkup, happy, pictures

♥Whats New...

I finished the pants with the flames on them this morning..... they fit nice, i like them.  I haven't really blogged about Vincent lately.... then this morning he did something so awesome and new. I woke up to him crying and talking like i do every morning... i crawled out of bed like i always do and stumbled to the bathroom then walked slowly to his room wondering why he always wakes up before i want to. I opened the door, and Vincent is standing..... i put my hand over my mouth and laughed.... this is the first time he was actually really for real pulled himself up. He had this huge grin on his face like "look what i did mom" I was so proud i ran and grabbed my camera to take a few photos for his daddy to see when he gets home today from work.
We will lower his crib mattress tonight.  Here is his "look what i did mom" grin. Labels: flames, happy, pants, smile, standing

♥Spaghetti Incident

I make spaghetti. No i don't make it from "scratch" and no i don't make it from a "jar", but i make spaghetti -and its damn good spaghetti too! Today Vincent has his mommy's spaghetti for the first time. I put some in his little bowl set it on his highchair trey, and he dove right in. It made me so happy to see that he liked it so much. He was covered from his chin up to his hair line in red sauce, noodles hanging out of his mouth and all. I gave him a bath when he was finished, because a few wipes wouldn't do the job. Now hes a fresh clean happy baby, who loves his mommy's spaghetti.  Spaghetti Baby  Happy Clean Baby Labels: clean, food, happy, messy, spaghetti
