The past few days Vincent has been wonderful. His two top teeth are all the way in and when he smile you can definitely see them. Its so funny looking,and i love it. He watches me like a hawk now, which is weird because he use to not care, but now he's watching me constantly, making sure I'm not going to leave the room without his permission and certainly not going to leave the room without him. I don't mind to much. Sometimes ill be doing something while he is on the floor playing and ill look down at him to notice hes staring at me... ill smile at him with the biggest smile i can create and he'll grin back and then hide his face. Its extremely cute. I cant believe he is close to 8 months old now. Its completely insane, i feel like he was just born yesterday. I mean when they say they grow up fast they aren't shitting ya. I am so in love with him, i feel like i am almost obsessed with him. He is my best friend and that's kinda sad... a 7 month old being my best friend. But i dont care. We have this little song like thing we sing (well actually i sing it to him, I'm not sure if he feels the same, but he seems to really enjoy the song, so- hey ... Ill consider that an agreement) it goes "Mommmmmieeee and Vinnnncent... best friends foreeeverrr"- I'm pathetic, trying to brain wash my child into being my best friend. He still loves the basket, i told him today that he can have it.

Vincent was a little fussy today, probably because of that other top tooth coming in. Lately he makes feeding him such an annoying chore. He just stares off and pays attention to everything except me.... trying to feed him. Now if i take out some squash he'll get down and start eating, but i cant feed him squash for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So feeding him is a fight. I took a nap with him again today, hes so goofy before falling asleep. He smiles and then leans over so his face is almost touching mine, stares into my eyes, and then laughs. I think he thinks its fun... sleeping in the bed with me. I tried showing him how to crawl again, i put him up on his knees and hands and he will sit there for a couple seconds before rolling over onto his back and then we will do it over again. I believe that his favorite part of the day is taking a bath. He just smiles the whole time and splashes.

Vincents tooth is finally in. He looks so funny now when he smiles or laughs, and you can see that one top tooth. I noticed his other top tooth is also coming in and you can just barely see it. He has been in such a good mood the past two days, which makes me in a good mood. Just seeing him laugh or smile is a huge mood lifter. He has this little laugh he does now.. like "ha ha. ...ha ha." and hell just do it over and over. Its actually funny. Hes so good with his hands now. He can pick up anything with ease, yesterday we were sitting outside- he was eating a cookie, and i was reading a book. He dropped his cookie (.... now usually he'll just sit there and cry until i pick it up and hand it back to him .... ) and then he reached down and picked it up like he was a pro and stuck it back in his mouth with such ease. I told him "yay, you did it all by yourself" and he did that little laugh "ha ha. ha ha."

  We went took a walk to the park today. Vincent got to swing in the baby swing, which he loved.He just smiled and watched all the kids playing and running around. It was as if i didnt even exist... he just stared at all the kids, i have to admit i started getting a little jealous. Yesterday night he sat up all alone for the longest time. I now consider this as him sitting all by himself for the first time. It was cute he just played with his toys. I can see his tooth more today. Its crazy how quick they come in.

Yesterday Vincent was Fussy. Come to find out, when he was flipped upside down (its a game we play. He loves it.) and laughing with his mouth wide open i found out the reason why...... He has a top front tooth coming in. Poor baby. He has Two teeth already, so this one will make his third. When were they going to tell me that once one comes in its like a train ride and all the others follow. I mean does the kid get a break?

Today when vincent woke up he was happy as usual. He gave me a little scare, i went to check my mail and i left him in his walker in the livingroom watching Dora (I hate Dora but it entertains him so... whatever). He doesnt know how to walk forward yet, he just mastered walking backwards so he just scoots backwards until he hits something and then whines for me to pull him forward so he can do it all over again. Im checking my mail and hes fussing a little causes hes alone in the livingroom. Its a half ass fuss nothing to worry about. I check my mail and notice its quiet in the livingroom so i go down the  hallway to check on him. I nearly shit my pants cause hes not there where i left him. My first thought was someone came in and stole him. I know its far fetched but hey you never know. Then im like where the hell did he go. i look around our bar and hes in the kitchen infront of the dishwasher. Now how in the hell did he get way over there. Im use to the past seven months you just put him somewhere and he doesnt move from that spot until you move him yourself. I guess this is the end of relaxed baby watching.... he now moves. This is scary.

So for my first blog, let me introduce myself... My name is Samantha, i am 23 years old. I have 7 month old son named Vincent. He was born May 30th 2006... 7 weeks early to all of our surprise. He is wonderful, it is amazing, the amount of love i have for him. He is my everything.  Yesterday we went to the zoo. Im not sure Vincent enjoyed the animals so much, he didnt seem to even notice them. He did though enjoy riding in his new stroller which was bought the night before. In the morning, before loading it into the car I showed it to him and said "look at your new badass stroller, you are going to be the coolest baby at the zoo". He just looked at me and smiled with his two bottom teeth poking out. Amazingly he didnt fuss at all during the whole outing. I like to think he had fun!
