♥Ugly Weather

The weather has been pretty ugly the past few days. Its has been raining the last few nights, and in the day time its windy with dark grey sky's





Which means we are all bored, i had been planning on taking The Boy and his dog to the Dog Park sometime this past week but have to keep canceling because of the wind and grey sky's. (Look how sad Stella looks because i keep telling her we are going to go to the Dog Park, but then i turn around and tell her that i lied to her and that we arnt going today.)





So until the weather gets better we are staying inside as much as possible snacking on cheerios and trying to find things to entertain us.





Like, tickling The Boy's feet and then laughing hysterically about it.

♥Daddy Needs A Drink By Robert Wilder

I recently bought the book Daddy Needs A Drink By Robert Wilder, lately i have really been into humorous parenting memoir type books and i have to say this book is hilarious. Every page offers up a laugh of some sort. Its honest, funny and to the point.

It is a book of essays but reading through chapter to chapter it still reads seamless. Its perfect for a parent who is too busy to read more than a chapter at a time. I found it very hard to put the book down and there where many times i literally laughed out loud.

This is the book you will want to tell all your parent friends about.

Yesterday Vincent was Fussy. Come to find out, when he was flipped upside down (its a game we play. He loves it.) and laughing with his mouth wide open i found out the reason why...... He has a top front tooth coming in. Poor baby. He has Two teeth already, so this one will make his third. When were they going to tell me that once one comes in its like a train ride and all the others follow. I mean does the kid get a break?





He likes his toys in a basket.
Dont ask why. I havent figured it out myself.
I humor him and put them in a basket for him. As long as hes happy right.









Today he doesnt seem as fussy. I gave him a little bit of baby Motrin because his gums were just a little swollen where that tooth is coming in. Other than that hes been wonderful. This morning as I was putting songs on my Ipod he was sitting next to me in his highchair ; i leaned over and in my "death metal" Voice said "blaaaaa" as i stuck my tounge out and shook my head while moving it closer to his face until our noses touched..... he started laughing so hard, needless to say we played "Death Metal Voice" for the next 20 minutes. Even his daddy joined in breifly before he had to leave to go to work. And there we were... two grown adults making death metal voices at a 7 month old. What can i say? My son has good taste in music. He also, for some crazy reason starts cracking up when you look at him and say "e me me me me me". I dont know why he thinks this is funny, but its worth saying it a million times just to see him laugh. He is a spoiled baby! Ya thats right i said it -my baby is spoiled-.
